Kitchen sink peanut butter cookies! They’re perfectly salty, sweet, crunchy and full of peanut butter flavor. This is a cookie the for the whimsical heart. And it’s a damn delicious cookie.
you ever grab a handful of salty potato chips, then some chocolate to balance it out with something sweet? This is your kind of cookie. It’s textural and has the perfect amount of salt and sweet.
This recipe is great for when you have a little bit of this and a little bit of that. For example, I had no M&Ms but a bunch of sprinkles and half a bag of eaten potato chips left. With the base being peanut butter, I added some roasted peanuts. You could get creative with the mix ins. Reese’s, pretzels, toffee bits. It’s such fun recipe and my toddler absolutely loved these!
MIX IN IDEAS
- m&ms
- reese’s pieces
- pretzels
- potato chips
- sprinkles
- toffee bits
- oreo cookies
- almonds
- pistachios
- walnuts
This recipe is super easy and interchangeable. You could swap out the peanut butter for almond butter and add almonds & almond extract for a totally different & delicious flavor.
A lot of the kitchen sink cookie recipe you see, typically m&m’s, but I have an abundance of sprinkles thanks to my sprinkle obsessed 4 year old. Definitely don’t use the non-pariel sprinkles, the color will dissolve and dye your batter and the colors will bleed into the cookies. I like using these sprinkles whenever i’m baking.
